Waste Management Inc. (Houston, TX) is set to open an 85,000-square-foot single-stream recycling facility in Winston-Salem, NC. The company invested $8.5 million to upgrade the plant which will now be able to process 100,000 tons of material annually, up from 36,000 tons per year now.
