The EPA in collaboration with the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences has launched what it calls a "combustion portal," which is a website dedicated to disseminating federal and state regulatory information for boilers, incinerators and other combustion units in one place. The site gives regulated entities access to potential air, water and waste regulatory impacts affecting their combustion activities, including New Source Performance Standards, National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants, indirect and direct water discharges, and Spill Prevention, Control and Counter Measures. It provides combustion calculators to help estimate emissions and rule requirements and provides links to information on pollution reduction methods.
