Company to License and Develop Organics Technology from Denmark’s Solum Group

Turning Earth, LLC (Brewster, NY), a developer of organics recycling facilities, has signed an agreement with Danish company Solum Group to exclusively license and jointly develop organics facilities that utilize Solum's High Solids Anaerobic Digestion ("HSAD") "Aikan" Technology. Andrew Kessler, Turning Earth's President, described the Aikan system as providing "the most elegant, flexible and integrated solution to converting organic waste into high quality biogas and compost." He said the technology is proven and would work seamlessly with his company's "Triple Play" approach that seeks to solve waste management, energy security, and local agriculture challenges in one fell swoop.

Turning Earth Announces Exclusive Licensing Agreement for Aikan™ High Solids Anaerobic Digestion Technology in North America with Denmark's Solum Group

Turning Earth, LLC, a developer of integrated organics recycling facilities, has entered into an exclusive licensing and joint development agreement with the Danish company Solum Group to deploy Solum's Aikan™ High Solids Anaerobic Digestion ("HSAD") Technology in Turning Earth's Triple Play™ organics recycling facilities in North America.

Under the terms of the agreement, Turning Earth has exclusive rights to the Aikan™ technology in North America and will work with Aikan North America, a Solum subsidiary, to develop Triple Play™ organics recycling facilities that recycle organic waste to produce renewable baseload energy, compost and sustainable agriculture. The companies will work together to design, construct, operate and maintain these facilities.
