CFO Needed

Plasma Power, LLC is seeking an experienced Waste- to- Energy (WTE) financial executive who has knowledge of and familiarity with:

  • Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) industry including solid waste district politics, operations, and technologies as well as renewable energy issues in general

  • Utility regulations and rate setting especially as related to feed-in tariffs, off-take sales

  • Negotiating feedstock (MSW) agreements

  • Negotiating power purchasing agreements

  • Corporate financial management including budgets, job costing, financial statements, taxes and other routine corporate financial matters

  • State statutes relating to Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS)

  • Government (DOE, USDA, etc.) renewable energy programs for grants, loan guarantees, and tax credits

  • Management of lobbying efforts related to state and federal laws and programs

  • Bond financing

The qualified person should have a minimum of five years of experience in the WTE or related industry and will be compensated in accordance with such experience. He/she will participate in equity opportunity, and as a C-level executive the successful candidate will advise and work closely with the CEO and Chairman on strategic and policy matters.

This position will be located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
