Thomas I. Morgan has resigned from the Board of Directors of Waste Management, Inc. (the "Company"). Mr. Morgan, who has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2006, informed the Company on June 10, 2008 that he is leaving the Company's Board of Directors to reduce his board service obligations because he has accepted a position as Chief Executive Officer of a private business organization. Mr. Morgan's resignation is effective immediately.
