AERC.com, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Secure Data Destruction and Disposal Operations

AERC.com, Inc., the leading full- service Secure Data Management and Recycling Companies in the US, announced that it has acquired from DynTek, Inc. (Pink Sheets: DYNK), its Secure Data Destruction and Disposal System (SDDS) operations, contracts and management software.

The terms of the sale include the transfer to AERC of DynTek's proprietary Secure Asset Management Software Program, related intellectual property and the Company's Statewide Secure Data Destruction contract with the Commonwealth of Virginia. AERC has served as DynTek's primary subcontractor on the Virginia contract for the past three years.

"DynTek's SDDS operations are a perfect complement to Com-Cycle, a wholly owned subsidiary of AERC and our electronics recycling business unit, and a logical step in our growth that calls for expanding our footprint, strategic acquisitions, business combinations, and joint ventures" said Peter J Jegou, AERC and Com-Cycle's Chief Executive Officer.

Lindsay Landmesser, Vice President of Sales, added "With our business volume, solution focus and recycling sales and management expertise, the Company can capitalize on this business through the expansion of opportunities within the Virginia SDDS contract and the use of the Secure Asset Management Software Program in other areas as well."

"Our strategic focus is on growing, managing and supporting profitable field operations that align with our core competencies," said Casper Zublin, Jr., DynTek's Chief Executive Officer. "SDDS is outside of our core business. We do look forward to partnering with AERC on future SDDS opportunities within our customer base, including adding them as a service line on our GSA schedule."
