Veolia Environmental Services Announces Acquisition of Otis & Sons Trash Disposal, Inc.

Veolia Environmental Services (Veolia ES) Solid Waste, Inc., a division of Veolia Environmental Services North America, today announced it has acquired the business operations of Otis & Sons Trash Disposal, Inc. near Boonville, MO. "The Otis & Sons acquisition further strengthens Veolia's presence in Central Missouri and contributes long term tonnage going to Maple Hill Landfill," said Roger Smith, General Manager of Veolia's northern Missouri area and Veolia ES Maple Hill Landfill, Inc.

The company is aggressively pursuing acquisition candidates across North America to expand its service area and provide exceptional waste services to its customers.

Details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
