Waste Connections Announces Addition to Its Board of Directors

Waste Connections, Inc. (NYSE: WCN) today announced that Edward E. "Ned" Guillet has joined its Board of Directors. From 1974 to 2006, Mr. Guillet served in a broad range of leadership positions with The Gillette Company, now the Gillette Global Business Unit of The Proctor & Gamble Company, including as its Senior Vice President, Human Resources, since 2001. He holds a B.A. degree in English Literature and Secondary Education from Boston College.
