The previously announced proposed acquisition of Zero Waste Energy Systems by Plasma Environmental Technologies Inc. (TSXV: PE) was terminated after Zero Waste failed to meet financial targets set for the deal in August. Plasma Environmental said that it was by mutual agreement and that Zero Waste had agreed to pay all out-of-pocket costs arising from the process. Both companies pledged to continue to seek ways of working together on future waste-to-energy projects.
