Chamber Of Commerce Calls On Government to Pay Cleanup Share

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has called on the federal government to pay "its fair share" to clean up sites contaminated with municipal and toxic wastes. The statement arose in connection with the case of Raytheon Aircraft Co. v. the United States, in which the federal EPA required Raytheon to clean up pollutants at a Kansas airport owned and operated by the U.S. military during World War II.
