Stericycle Inc. has purchased Sterile Technologies Group Ltd., a medical waste management business based in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Stericycle paid $131 million, of which $114 million was cash and $17 million was assumed debt. The acquisition is expected to add about $46 million to Stericycle's revenues for this year; Sterile Technologies had revenues of about $55 million in 2005.
