Waste Industries USA Inc. (Nasdaq: WWIN) has closed on a series of tuck-in acquisitions in Georgia, Virginia and Tennessee with a total annual revenue of approximately $2.0 million. In Georgia, the company acquired Southern Disposal, which services suburban Atlanta, and several routes in Gwinnett County. The company also acquired the southwest Virginia operations of Lusk Disposal, and the portion of Icon Waste Haulers which serves Nashville, Tennessee.
