SCS Energy Wins LFG Contract In Sonoma, Calif.

SCS Energy, an operating division of SCS Engineers, has awarded a multi-year contract by Sonoma County, Calif. under which SCS will design and install a facility to convert landfill gas to compressed natural gas. The gas will be used to fuel buses operated by the county's transit system. The project will be the second LFG to CNG project in the United States, after one based at the Puente Hills Landfill in Los Angeles.
