Republic Services (NYSE: RSG) has reported net income of $63.8 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2005, up from $62.5 million for the same period last year. Revenue in the quarter increased 4.3 percent to $730.0 million from $699.9 million. Operating income was $119.4 million, up from $116.5 million.
