Metal Management (NASDAQ: MTLM) has announced results for its second quarter ended Sept. 40. The company had net sales of $378 million and net income of $16.9 million; this compares to $425 million and $34.1 million, respectively, for the same period a year ago. During the quarter, approximately 1.2 million tons of metal were processed and sold or brokered.
