Office Depot has announced that 65 percent of its 2004 U.S. paper sales came from recycled paper, marking a 373 percent increase from 2003. In 2004, the company was the first in the office products industry to establish annual quantified performance objectives, and also reported that the average annual post-consumer waste recycled content of all paper it sold in the United States last year rose by 125 percent.
