Itec Environmental Group has agreed to acquire all of the issued and outstanding stock of Rose Waste Systems, Inc. of San Carlos, Calif. Rose Waste is an 18-year-old engineering and sales company offering recycling, refuse and scrap handling equipment. Itec officials expect the merger will improve Itec's standing in the U.S. plastic container industry, and will aid in Itec's acquisition of large quantities of PET and HDPE plastic. The plastic will be cleaned with Itec's trademarked Eco2 Environmental System and sold into the post-consumer plastic market.
