Waste Industries USA, Inc. (NASDAQ: WWIN) has reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2005. For the quarter, revenue increased 3.7 percent to $71.8 million, up from $69.2 million in 2004. Operating income decreased 4.3 percent to %6.6 million, and net income was $2.6 million, or $0.19 per diluted share.
