Zenon Environmental Inc. (TSX: ZEN) has been selected to supply King County, Washington with the largest membrane bioreactor in the world. The ZeeWeed MBR will treat an average daily flow of approximately 144,000 cubic meters of municipal sewage, or 38 million gallons a day, serving over 100,000 households. The company also received an order for a second, smaller plant, which results in a total order value to Zenon of $30 million. The larger plant is expected to come online in 2010; the smaller one in 2007.
