WCA Waste Reports Fourth Quarter and 2005 Results

WCA Waste Corporation (Nasdaq: WCAA) has reported financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2004. Revenue for the fourth quarter of 2004 was $20.6 million, a 28.5 percent increase over the $16.0 million reported for the same period in 2003. Operating income for the fourth quarter of 2004 was $2.3 million, up from $1.9 million for the same period last year. Net income for the quarter was $692,000, or $0.05 per share on 14.9 million diluted shares outstanding, up from $320,000, or $0.04 per share on 8.0 million diluted shares outstanding, for the same period last year.
