Waste Connections, Inc. (NYSE: WCN) has announced fourth quarter 2004 earnings of $0.30 per share from continuing operations, down from $0.39 in the year-ago period. 2004's results included approximately $5.7 million of pre-tax expenses on refinancing costs, sales of corporate equipment and other charges. Revenues for the quarter were $163.7 million, an 11.9 percent increase over 2003. For the year, revenue was $629.4 million, up 15 percent from $547 million in 2003. For 2005, the company expects revenue to range between $690 million and $700 million.
