Startech Environmental Corporation (OTC: STHK) has won The Wall Street Journal's 2004 Technology Innovation Award in the category of "Materials and Other Base Technologies." Startech was honored for developing its Plasma Converter recycling system that uses superheated, ionized gases to, as the company indicates, preserve the environment and produce clean energy.
