Waste Management's third-quarter earnings, boosted by cleanup revenues from four Florida hurricanes, rose by 44 percent. Net income rose to $302 million, or $0.52 per share, from $210 million, or $0.35 per share, in the same quarter of 2003. Revenue rose 9 percent to $3.27 billion from $2.99 billion in 2003. Waste Management said that hurricane cleanup added approximately $59 million in revenue.
