The state of Georgia will not appeal an administrative law judge's ruling in a Taliaferro County landfill case, which effectively permits the 820-acre facility. The EPD had denied a permit application to open the landfill, and developer Complex Environmental Inc. of Atlanta appealed the decision. A judge ruled in favor of the developer.
