Versar, Inc. (Amex: VSR) has been awarded a General Services Administration Information Technology schedule contract through its subsidiary GEOMET Technologies, LLC. Versar will now be able to support homeland security and e-government initiatives and extend existing corporate IT capabilities to all government agencies.The five-year base contract (with five option years) allows for a wide-range of IT services to be provided to the government.
