Lockheed Martin Wins EPA OSW Contract

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has won a five-year contract to provide technical, analytical and information technology support for the EPA's Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response. The contract has a base value of $89 million, and a total value of $143 million. Under the Response Engineering and Analytical Contract, Lockheed teams will be on alert 24 hours a day, ready to respond national and international incidents involving releases of oil and hazardous materials and uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. The teams support ERT Centers located in Edison, N.J.; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Las Vegas, Nev.
