USA Biomass Corporation (OTC: USBCQ) has entered into a two-year contract with Lake Arrowhead Forest Products, Inc. to transport wood chips from Lake Arrowhead, Calif. to the Bakersfield, Calif. area. The contract is expected to yield more than $1 million in revenue for USA Biomass. Bark beetle infestations have killed large numbers of trees in San Bernardino County, and the county has contracted LAFP to remove the dead trees. The chips will be sold as composting material and used for a local cogeneration plant.
