Versar Inc. has reported results for its third quarter of fiscal 2004, with gross revenues up 13 percent over 2003 to $15.1 million. This marks the company's fourth consecutive profitable quarter, and is due to an increase in subcontracted mold remediation work. Net income for the third quarter of fiscal 2004 was $21,000, versus a loss of $455,000 in the same period in 2003. The company now has a funded contract backlog of $50 million, with a total backlog of $350 million.
