IESI Corporation has reported results from the three months ended March 31, 2004. Revenue increased more than 33 percent to $74.1 million, as compared to $55.4 million for the same period in 2003. Operating income over the period increased to $6.4 million from $3.4 million in 2003, and net loss was $1.2 million as compared to $501,000 in 2003. Company officials expressed satisfaction with the results, saying that inclement weather at its Northeast facilities kept the results from being even stronger.
