Idaho Waste Systems Opens New Regional Landfill

Idaho Waste Systems has opened the Simco Regional Landfill in Elmore County, Idaho, and will use the facility to provide waste-by-rail services to municipalities throughout the Pacific Northwest. The landfill has an estimated 420 million tons of air space, and is located about 30 miles southeast of Boise. Union Pacific Railroad tracks run directly onto the landfill site.
