Micro Bio-Medical Waste Systems Inc. (OTCBB: MBWS) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire Haverhill Technologies Group Inc., which designs, builds, and installs vacuum furnace equipment. Haverhill has representation in more than 20 companies, with approximately $13 million in assets and $3 million in annual gross revenue. The transaction is expected to close on or before May 30, 2004, with a purchase price of $14 million.
