Environmental Groups Seek To Defeat President Bush

Several environmental groups, including the League of Conservation Voters, the Friends of the Earth Action, and the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, have established a coalition with the singular goal of defeating President George W. Bush in the 2004 election. The "Environmental Victory Project" will focus on four so-called "battleground" states-Florida, New Mexico, Oregon, and Wisconsin-and target independent, swing voters.
