RMT Wins National Award For Landfill GTE Project

RMT has won a National Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies for its landfill gas-to-energy project in Antioch, Ill. Working in conjunction with Antioch High School at the closed HOD landfill, RMT installed twelve 30-kW Capstone MicroTurbines, providing 360 kW of power for the school. Antioch is the first school in the country to use landfill gas for heat and electrical production.
