Four former Etowah County, Ala. officials who were convicted of a plot to defraud the county out of $1.4 million in garbage fees have reported to federal prison to begin serving their sentences. The administrators were convicted in 2001 and sentenced on 2002. The sentences range from 15 to 94 months.
