Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc.'s (Nasdaq: PESI) Industrial Services Segment has received a one-year contract worth approximately $4 million, from a leading North-American home-improvement retail chain, for the collection, treatment and disposal of outdated, damaged and returned consumer products for the Eastern United States. Perma-Fix officials noted that the contract represents a step forward in the company's strategic movement away from broker disposal services to more regional operations.
