Versar, Inc. (Amex: VSR) has won a $2.76 million firm fixed-price task order from the U.S. Air Force for clean-up of two contaminated sites at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Under the contract, Versar will remove over 28,000 tons of contaminated soil and will obtain regulatory approval for closing a Fire Training area and a Missile Launch facility over the course of the next three years.
