Startech Environmental Corporation has successfully completed a $70,000 contract from Concurrent Technologies Corporation to demonstrate the ability of Startech's Plasma Converter to safely process and destroy e-waste. CTC operates the National Defense Center for Environmental Excellence under a contract with the Department of Defense. Startech's Plasma Converter System can irreversibly destroy hazardous waste, industrial byproducts, and other materials, while converting them into useful products such as surplus energy and hydrogen.
