Casella Waste Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CWST) has been selected to operate the McKean County, Penn. landfill for more than 20 years. The McKean County Solid Waste Authority will now negotiate the 22-year service agreement with Casella to operate the 1,000-ton per day landfill. Casella Waste Systems, based in Rutland, VT., is a regional, integrated non-hazardous solid waste services company.
