Environmental Elements Corporation (Amex: EEC) has reported a net loss of $1.9 million ($0.26 per share) on sales of $9.3 million for its third fiscal quarter ended Dec. 31, 2002, compared to net income of $703,000 ($0.10) per share on sales of $20.1 million for the same period last year. For the nine months ended December 31, 2002, the Company reported a net loss of $2.2 million ($0.31 per share loss) on sales of $32.9 million, compared with net income of $1.3 ($0.19 per share) on sales of $55.7 million during the same period last fiscal year.
