Startech Environmental Corp. (Nasdaq: STHK) has signed a distributor agreement with Eiko Systems Corporation for the sale of Startech products and services in Japan. Startech and Eiko have set significant sales requirements, and will focus initial efforts in the areas of incinerator ash, medical waste, PCBs, and other industrial waste categories. Eiko officials said the positive response it has received to its new Plasma Converter installation in Kumamoto Prefecture has demonstrated the potential and need for Startech's products and services in Japan.
